Super insulated timber frame sustainable build incorporates a number of energy efficient systems. ARCO2 designed this building to strongly relate to the surrounding woodland, visible timber in-the-round post and beam structures reflect tree forms.

DESIGN FEATURES:
- Window design gives natural lighting to all internal spaces maximising solar gain

SPLIT LEVEL DESIGN
The split level building is designed to fit comfortably into the sloping site with minimum disturbance and high quality execution. The large windows and sliding doors to the southwest open up the living space to the woods, combining homeliness and nature seamlessly.

SUSTAINABLE FEATURES
This replacement dwelling has been designed to minimise its impact upon its woodland setting and environment. ARCO2 have utilised reclaimed sheeps wool insulation, renewable energy generation via photovoltaic roof panels and heat recovery ventilation system saves heat loss during winter.
