Our clients were determined that the work was of the highest standard and it was our informed opinion that the amendments produced a building that is of an improved quality with more suitable materials and of the utmost architectural merit.

FAMILY HOME

A large feature fireplace is not always helpful. The decision to extend Wetherham Lodge came from the need for more interior spaces as the fireplace made the current spaces unusable. This minor alteration created a more suitable home for the clients ever expanding family.

SURROUNDED BY WOODLAND

A major feature of this site is the impressive level of screening created by mature trees sustainably managed by the client.

  • No neighbouring buildings are able to oversee the site
  • No public footpaths in close proximity
  • Elevation from the garden is totally private

LOCALLY SOURCED MATERIALS

The clients site provided a significant proportion of timber needed for the extension. Felled from their site then dried in a local solar powered kiln utilising local craftmanship.
