This extension to the front of the property was instigated by our clients need to add additional internal space to their property without compromising on the amenity space in the back garden.

Located on the South East edge of upper town Boscastle, Summer Winds sits in the perfect elevated position to benefit from the dramatic panoramic views over Boscastle and the Celtic Sea beyond.

NATURAL LIGHT
During the design process it was decided that Triple glazed roof lights should replace some of the existing windows on the North side. This resulted in less overlooking of neighbours, more thermal effeciency and more aesthetically pleasing.

SUSTAINABLE FEATURES
Improvements to the existing building fabric were paramont to this property including externally insulating with rendered finish), replacing existing UPVC external joinery with high quality timber frame and removing the sub-standard blockwork utility room of poor construction and replace with a rendered, sedum roof extension.
