Sand Dunes is a large family home embedded in the Cornish landscape. The holiday home has been designed carefully within the context of the surrounding coastal landscape, aiming to sit seamlessly within the scenery.
CONTEMPORARY FAMILY DESIGN
Sand Dunes comprises of three buildings, the main house for family living, along with a guest annex, and a pool house. It marries contemporary sensibilities with family practicality beautifully, creating a warm and modern open plan living space.

LOCALLY CRAFTED
The client was intent on the use of local tradesmen to complete the project. Sand Dunes utilizes contemporary building techniques, whilst promoting links to Cornish history through its use of traditional materials. It also frames the beautiful landscape.

SUSTAINABLE FEATURES
This environmentally conscious house makes the most of locally sourced materials. The main building is externally clad in local Cornish stone with reclaimed Delabole slate at the first floor. A bio-diverse roof helps minimise the building’s impact.
