The unusual plan has 3 wings creating a private morning terrace, wing orientated towards Porthillly church and the main frontage takes advantage of the dazzling views over Porthilly Beach, Rock and Padstow.


The design is extremely understated from the entrance with no views from the approach. Once entering, the building opens up to unobstructed panoramic estuary views; the element of surprise!

Oysters was designed to be very sympathetic to neighbouring buildings and its mass, height and scale were carefully considered to retain views from neighbouring properties. After all, such a stunning panoramic view deserves to be seen by everyone around.
