SEEING THE CRAFT BEHIND THE ARCHITECTURAL SURFACES

Directors Ian and Nathan recently spent a few days exploring the craftsmanship behind the surfaces that shape many of the spaces designed by ARCO2. Their visit included a series of showroom tours and production plant visits, providing the opportunity to see first-hand how materials are developed, manufactured and refined.

By stepping beyond the finished product and into the environments where these materials are conceived and produced, they gained a deeper understanding of the processes, innovations and techniques that influence quality, performance and design possibilities.

From emerging surface technologies to traditional manufacturing expertise, the visits offered valuable insight into the evolving landscape of architectural materials.

Experiences like this allow the team at ARCO2 to continually expand their knowledge and ensure that the materials specified in projects are not only visually compelling but also thoughtfully engineered and responsibly produced.
