MAKING BETTER USE OF SPACE IN MID CORNWALL
This project in Perranporth, Mid Cornwall focused on making thoughtful design adjustments that improved the functionality and flow of the home while making the best possible use of the available space. The aim was to create a layout that better suited the clients’ day to day living without unnecessary extension or disruption.
Careful alterations to the internal arrangement introduced improved natural light, better connections between rooms and a more practical use of space throughout the property. The revised design helped create a home that feels more open, comfortable and efficient while remaining sensitive to the character of the existing building.
The result is a refined contemporary home that demonstrates how carefully considered architectural design can significantly improve everyday living through intelligent use of space and layout.

Two Hoots Barn is located within a spacious area of land with uninterrupted panoramic views of Perranporth Sand Dunes.
Design features include a tranquil setting surrounded by open countryside and peaceful garden seating areas for relaxation.
OPEN PLAN SPACES
The new single storey extension isolated on the South elevation, enabling the ground floor layout to be reconfigured.
Design features include an open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, an abundance of natural light, and a wood burner for warm, cosy evenings.
CORNISH STONE BUILDING
The property consists of a beautiful Cornish Stone built barn, rectangular in form with window reveals detailed in red clay brick quoins.
Design features include a hipped roof sunroom, bedrooms with en suites, and a newly reconfigured staircase to create more usable space.
