This is one of our projects at Gwithian Towans where we are working with Symons Construction of St Ives. The insulated raft foundation has been installed – this system by Advanced Foundation Technology Ltd is an energy-efficient, self shuttering, lightweight foundation system that is quick and easy to install, requires the minimum amount of excavation work and uses less concrete than traditional strip foundations and concrete slabs. The timber frame is currently being constructed.
