What a way to end the day….. On Friday the 5th of June we received a pre-application response and this is the opening paragraph:
“This may be a little unconventional in a pre-app response, but I feel the situation merits it, and it is Friday afternoon! I would like to open by saying what a pleasure it has been to have the opportunity to view such a well-presented proposal. Obviously the starkness of contrast would be influenced by the nature and quality of other submissions viewed over a period of time leading up to it, but the impression of an occasional encounter with a typical ARCO2 submission can sometimes seem like the chance stumbling into an oasis after plodding through the desert for some time! And I can certainly appreciate why the replacement dwelling of this proposal would appeal to many in terms of the quality of living offered to future occupants. Job well done.”
