National Building & Construction Awards 2025
Arco2 Wins Silver at the National Building & Construction Awards 2025
Arco2 is proud to announce that we have been awarded Silver in the Sustainability Award category at the National Building & Construction Awards 2025.
This national recognition celebrates excellence in sustainable design and construction and places Arco2 alongside some of the UK’s most forward-thinking practices. The award reflects our long-standing commitment to low-energy architecture, responsible material choices, and buildings that respond intelligently to their environment.
Recognising Leadership in Sustainable Architecture
The Sustainability Award acknowledges projects and practices that demonstrate measurable environmental performance, innovation, and long-term value. For Arco2, sustainability is not an added feature—it is embedded in every stage of our work, from early design strategy through to delivery on site.
Our approach combines:
• Low-energy and passive design principles
• Fabric-first construction
• Careful orientation and daylight optimisation
• Natural and low-impact materials
• Long-term operational efficiency
Winning Silver at a national level reinforces the effectiveness of this integrated approach and the collaborative relationships we build with clients, consultants, and contractors.
A Shared Achievement
This award is a testament to the dedication of the entire Arco2 team and the ambition of our clients, who place sustainability at the heart of their projects. We are particularly proud that our work continues to demonstrate that environmentally responsible architecture can also deliver exceptional design quality and liveability.
Looking Ahead
As demand for genuinely sustainable buildings continues to grow, Arco2 remains focused on pushing boundaries—reducing operational energy use, lowering embodied carbon, and creating architecture that is resilient, thoughtful, and future-ready.
We would like to thank the National Building & Construction Awards judges for recognising our work, and we look forward to continuing to deliver meaningful, sustainable architecture across Cornwall and beyond.
