Cornish Architecture has a fine tradition of ingenuity, invention and creativity. ARCO2 Architecture Ltd builds on this through a sensitive approach to ‘Green’ design. The company’s primary concerns are to improve the built environment through healthy building, in turn, achieving a cleaner environment and reducing life cycle costs.
ARCO2 – quality architecture with the aim of reducing carbon dioxide and other harmful emissions made within the construction process and the life of the building. That’s the synonym derived from architecture and CO2 that has been adopted by ARCO2 Architecture Ltd. Our innovative approach to architecture and the resulting beneficial effect on the environment is demonstrated in every facet of our work since the company’s inception in 2003. ARCO2 has since established itself as an Award winning RIBA registered Cornish based Architects Practice and a leader in the field of sustainability. Our skills and valuable local knowledge were eventually combined, the catalyst being the voluntary design of a new school building for Lanlivery CP School which went on to win the 2004 International RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) Award for Sustainability.
